How
to update, add and delete content |
To add or update content you need to be logged
in with a valid username and password.
The login page is at siteadmin.asp. |
| When logged in, each page entry is
displayed with ' EDIT | COPY | DELETE | ADD | RESTORE '
options, allowing you: 1) to edit the page content; 2)
to edit a copy of the page in order to create a new similar page; 3) to remove the
page altogether; 4) to add a new page; 5) to restore to a previous version of a page if available. |
On selecting EDIT the page will reload with editing controls at the top and page title and section options at the bottom. The appearance of the editable text should be broadly the same as that on the normal page, however, now you can select areas with the cursor and change their content or formatting. When finished submit the updates using the 'Save Edited Page' button. If you wish at any point to abandon the editing, simply select another page from the lafthand menu or click 'Cancel Work on this Page' at the bottom.. |

at the bottom of the form: |
Menu Section |
If you wish the page to be listed in the navigation menu, select a section to put it in, from the list on the right, or create a new section by entering its name on the left. |
Page Title |
This will be used for the name of the page at the top of your browser, as keywords for the page and as the name of the menu item if the page is included in a section of the navigation. |
